The Uni women played a fluid attacking game to take an unassailable lead by half time.

With the heavens opening up the Penguins upped the tempo of their game to finish 17-10.

The highest goal scorer was veteran Sue Dilena who seemingly never failed to convert from her trade mark fast break from the midfield.

The Black Magic brings on new players

The Black Magic has continued to develop an impressive player list.

Despite 13 players being absent due to university exams or injury the Uni men were still able to fill 2 near strength teams.

Although the final score for both teams was far from impressive, many upcoming players were allowed an opportunity to impress the coaches with their improving form.

The Black Magic's newest players took an early lead against the Burnside Bears only to lose momentum in the second half of the game.

The 1st goal of the game went to Blacks attackman number 16 Matt Lowcock. Matt executed a textbook roll dodge to shoot a left handed goal, his first for the season.

Making a guest appearance was Tom Coker fresh from his new home at Subiaco. Well done to Dom Svilans for stepping in to the goals as a last minute replacement.

The Mighty Penguins broke their winning streak and were unable to hold back Brighton's attacking play. In the final tally the Bombers proved too tough for the Uni Women's Div 1 side and were dominant for a large portion of the game.
